ABOUT THE ARTIST
My artistic journey began at age three—drawing on whatever paper I could find and entering art competitions throughout my youth. While earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development Management at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, I turned my passion into a college side hustle in 2015, sketching charcoal and colored pencil portraits. Back then, I held a quiet dream: to one day open my own art studio and share my vision through a solo exhibition.
Before pursuing art full-time, I spent a decade in corporate recruitment, including seven fulfilling years at Korn Ferry as Senior Manager for Recruitment Marketing & Internal Recruitment. In 2023, I married the love of my life, Grant, and together we decided it was finally time to turn that lifelong dream into reality—co-founding Longcop-Olan Artworks.
Everything transformed in May 2026 when I picked up acrylic paint for the first time. I unlocked a whole new layer of my creative potential, discovering a way to translate photographs and memories from our travels across North America, Asia, and my coastal roots in Gamay, Northern Samar into rich, tactile experiences. Wanting my art to have a physical presence, I began sculpting heavy 3D textures—allowing viewers to physically feel every rushing wave, soft petal, and blade of grass.
Known online as the "Traveling Foodie Artist," I document the intersection of fine art, regional culinary traditions, and travel through my ongoing vlog series, "Let's Go Eat Den Sketch" (#LetsGoEatDenSketch).
My debut solo exhibition, Textures of Our Destinations, opens January 5–19, 2027, at RiseSpace Art Gallery in Makati City. Through my work, I hope to transport you to extraordinary places around the world. Let my art be your destination.
